Monday Melodies - Mondays at 11:00am
Research shows that singing gives your lungs a workout, boosts the immune system, lowers stress levels – and best of all, it’s fun! Raise your voice in song as we share our favourite singalong tunes. Your host, Tom Gillespie brings you golden oldies, show tunes, country, pop and traditional songs.
Active Aging Yoga - Tuesdays at 11:00am
This virtual class hosted by Carlie Nicol will cover standing and seated Hatha yoga postures that have adaptations to them for the active ager. You will learn postural modifications – focusing on standing poses for strength, balance and joint mobility and seated postures for opening the chest and working thru all movements of the spine.
StrongerU Senior Fitness – Wednesdays at 11:00am
Studies continue to show us that engaging in physical activity is the most effective way to stay healthy as we age. This 30-minute workout can be performed seated or standing based on your ability, right in the privacy of your own home.
Mindfulness & Meditation - Thursdays at 11:00am
Join Tracey Delfs for a short, guided meditation and learn more about how you can incorporate various mindfulness practices into your life with ease. Practicing mindfulness and meditation will help you to worry less, decrease anxiety, sleep better, think more clearly and increase your level of happiness.
Chen Tai Chi – Fridays at 11:00am
This new program debuts on January 15 2021.
